In my performance there were many decisions I made as during are performance Eugene got some of his lines in the wrong order and so we had to improvise a small part of the scene to get through however I liked my idea of putting the chair in centre stage and I think that went well as it helped us as it worked as a prop for me and Eugene to sit on and also it symbolised that Hecuba had a higher status than Achilles at the time and I think at first I was struggling to keep in role as I was laughing at Daniels costume and we wasn’t taking the role seriously another problem was Daniels killing scene in which he messed it up and hit Jose with the handle of the gun which made the scene look fake and also one of us should have asked to add a gun sound effect to it another idea was to maybe change the gun to a knife to make the scene more believable.
Overall though I think many parts of our performance went well as we easily got over the ten minute mark eliminating any worries of the time limit we had and also I think my costume went well as it symbolised my character of being ruined but still having power and I showed this by wearing plain torn up clothes and wearing a colourful head scarf along with it and this also helped show my character show that she still had power even though her city had been destroyed
I enjoyed playing Hecuba as she embodies the will of troy and her emotions were very clear and she is what finally convinces Breises to stay and this leads to the downfall of Achilles and also she is probably the most vocal character in the play along with Achilles
